Database of PPC Articles From 2013 02 Jan 2014
2013 is officially over now which means another round up of all the best pay per click advertising articles from the past twelve months. There have been some great articles based around categories such as online advertising, PPC help, social media and SEO which, if you read, I can guarantee will make you much more successful in the future. Your new year’s resolution should be to read more articles on PPC.org. Why not start off this great resolution here, right now, by looking at some of the best articles on PPC.org during the whole of 2013.
Every month, I round up the best articles and sum them up into an article entitled ‘Some Useful PPC Articles From MONTH 2013′. Every single linked article below has at least 4 articles in it which truly makes this webpage a database of PPC articles! Feel free to skip to any month for the best articles from that month.
As well as including the huge database of PPC articles from 2012, January brought along some great articles including how to get more conversions in PPC to a SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity and Threats) analysis of your current PPC campaign. There are, in total, six great articles to read from January.
It can be considered that February was very much focused on PPC vs it’s competitors (such as banner advertising and BuySellAds) as well as how to make your PPC landing page better. Featuring five articles, you will learn why pay per click advertising is the best form of online advertising and ways to improve your landing page.
Although March’s edition only had four articles, these four articles will make you realise a low CTR in PPC is not always necessarily a bad thing. As well as this, I look into the six unique selling points PPC offers over other forms of online advertising out there (which is why PPC has become so dominative).
The majority of articles from April were centred around the ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’ where I look at the search text advert and landing page of an actual fully running PPC campaign. From this, I am then able to look at the strengths and weaknesses of the campaign which you should be able to learn from and import into your own campaign. In total, there are nine articles so there is a lot for you to read!
Including more ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’ articles, May also included some more great articles from simple tips anyone can use in their PPC campaign to why colours are important in PPC: what they mean to the average web user.
June was a general month in terms of articles in the sense that there were articles on all sorts of things involving PPC. Featuring the other ways you can use PPC to landing page optimisation tips, you will find a wide selection of articles to choose to read.
Although July looks at PPC with articles on what makes a successful campaign and PPC vocabulary explained, July also looks at websites in general from how blog writers can search engine optimise their articles manually without the need of software doing it for them.
August includes articles on keywords classification in PPC and a few more ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’ articles looking at Panasonic and WeBuyAnyCar this time. As well as this, there is an article questioning whether advertisers and publishers should use Infolinks or not.
Just like with most months, there are more ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’ articles looking at three large companies where I found some interesting tips advertisers could use in their own campaigns. As well as this, I compare organic traffic to PPC traffic to see which is best for your landing page.
October was the best month for anyone wanting to improve their landing page. This is because this was the month where I created a new series on ‘How to Optimise ANY PPC Landing Page’. In this series, I have a look at six different types of landing pages advertisers can use, what their objectives are for a conversion and how you can achieve this.
With articles starting to look towards the Christmas rush, I have a selection of articles you can read ranging from how to optimise image adverts in PPC to understanding the basis of a PPC text advert with its layout of a title, description and URL.
Being a month focused around how to capitalise from Christmas traffic, December’s articles are all about ironing out the mistakes in your campaign and improving it for Christmas. I have articles on the landing page, what search terms to include in your campaign to four mistakes to not make in your campaign.
There we have it! The best articles from 2013 delivered to you in one article. I hope 2013 was a great year for you and I hope you all had a great New Year!
