Not everyone knows exactly how Google Page Rank works, but we all know it’s important.
Google Page Rank is a 0-10 score assigned by Google that rates the popularity of an indexed web page based on the number and type of external links pointing to that page. In short, it’s kind of like a popularity contest and getting people to vote for your web site by linking to you.

I have seen some sites which have their domain name registered 3 years back but had nothing much in it. yet the google page rank was 3 for that website. My Stock market blog http://investorzclub.blogspot.com is regularly updated since past 2 years but still has the page rank 2. Is it dependent on the age of a domain rather than content…

My website (http://www.palaksoft.com) is 8 months old, have couple of backlinks but still the pagerank is 0, how can I improve it?

Do what you’re doing now, go out comment, be active. Try getting comments on high pr ranked pages.
