I’ve been a guest posting fanatic for a long time.  Literally, I put up like 2-3 guest posts on other blogs a day.  It’s one of the best ways to get links from other blogs. Over the past 6 months it’s been one of the only good ways that Google is loving for SEO’s. This post will talk about a big question: Is guest posting dead?

When something becomes really hot, Google typically has to address it.  In this case it’s guest blogging.  Tons of people have been trying to get guest blog posts up over the past 6 months.  I’ve actually seen a 20% increase in the amount of guest posts submitted to PPC.org over the past 6-8 months.  Probably because we’re a reputable site and people want links on those sites.

Today Google’s Matt Cutts came out with a video that I think you should all see about guest posting, see below:

So basically, no low quality articles or spinning of articles.  Google also loves longer articles 500+ words.  Here at PPC.org we allow guest posting of posts that are 1000+ words with 1 link back to your website.  For a list of killer guest posting sites, click here.
