Google have hit the jackpot when it comes to pay per click advertising. With the combination of AdWords and Adsense, these two programs result to make up 97% of Google’s revenue. When I first heard this, I just couldn’t believe it. Google have many products. How has AdWords and Adsense become so successful that they dominate Google’s profits? It makes clear how successful Google are in pay per click advertising and how they are still the market leaders in pay per click advertising. Everyone mentions AdWords to be the main successor to Google in PPC. However, it’s a two-way system: AdWords needs Adsense. It’s uses synergy-like results. Separately, they would be nothing. Together, they are unstoppable.

Always Generating income

Google Adsense has led the way in PPC since 2000. The benefit it produces is that you will always make money from it. It is not like where you have to wait for an advertising to buy advertising space to start making money. As soon as you put that Adsense unit on your website, it will start showing adverts to your traffic potentially generating you an income 24/7.

DoubleClick

Google have recently released a new addition to Adsense called Google DoubleClick. From their homepage:

DoubleClick is the ad technology foundation to create, transact, and manage digital advertising for the world’s buyers, creators and sellers.

Personally, I still don’t have a clue how to use it which worries me. Pay per click was never this difficult when I first used it, was it?  However, I would reccomend you take a look at it. I am sure it will benefit many advertisers in the future and produce even higher conversion rates for them too without costing any more than it already does in PPC.

Simple

After using many advertising programs online such as Ad Dynamo, , Chitika and adBrite Exchange, I can safely say that Google Adsense is one of the simplest designed PPC programs with an easy to use interface be it viewing it on a web browser or mobile. It’s important to have a good UI especially how many publishers will have to use it on a daily basis.

Exceptional

Google Adsense is an exceptional PPC program for publishers for many reasons. However, the number one reason will always be for the number of advertising Google AdWords have. With millions of advertisers worldwide wanting to advertise on publisher sites, the demand produces very healthy CPCs for publishers which will always keep publishers using Adsense for PPC.

Niche

Google Adsense has features that other PPC programs still don’t have. An example of this is the Performance Reports. Not every PPC program has an in depth analyse of your publisher side to PPC. From the country they came from to the platforms used to view the adverts, Google is leading the way in analysing clicks and impressions of PPC adverts.

Satisfying Publishers

Adsense is so popular with publishers for another reason that the reviews and brand awareness of Adsense and Google is so high amongst advertisers and publishers. Every single person who uses Adsense will not be disappointed. The only times people are dissatisfied with Adsense is when their account gets banned for click fraud. However, the reasons are usually the publisher’s fault. It also is securing to see that Adsense has no tolerance to click fraud.

Explicit

Google Adsense goes into detail with suiting the requirements publishers ask for. From offering all ad sizes and types to advertisers with the option to customize the font size, font and colour of the adverts, the level of detail Adsense offers cannot be beaten. The more specific PPC is for publishers, the higher the chances are of making money. Therefore, when using Adsense, publishers will have a good chance of making money.
