It has been a while since I have made an article on blogging (so here it is)! As a blogger who started from scratch and learnt his way to successful blogging by encountering many mistakes and learning from them, I feel I3 Essential Blogging Tips have many tips I could tell people so that they do not have to go down the same and painful roads I first went down when I started blogging years ago. For this reason, here you will find three of the most essential blogging tips that will save you plenty of money, time and help progress and improve your blogging career.

#1 Hire Someone to Design Your Blog

This is a must. The reason I say this is because when you first start in blogging, you will not be an expert of HTML, C coding, Java or anything else that websites use. So, for you to create a template/design for your blog that will be good enough to use in the long term is a big ask.

I think when I created my first website, I must have spent around 50% of my time trying to learn and change my blog’s design where it should have been dedicated to getting high quality content out onto the website.

Yes, it will cost you money. However, it is a one off cost that will serve your website well and free up lots of time for you to concentrate on more important areas of your website.

#2 Write Niche Articles

Before I first created my first successful website, I had many websites that dwindled into failures. Looking back, the reason this happened was because although I was putting out high quality content onto the internet, the content was already out there in other articles online. Considering the competition for such categories was so high, my websites never had a chance to even rank on the first page of Google search results for any valid and contextual keywords web users searched for.

This is why I think niche websites are amazing. You are adding to the knowledge on the internet which will be rewarded with traffic. There is no competition in niche topics so you will find you will always rank highly organically.

#3 Proof Read Articles

When I first created articles, I tended to want to output as much content onto the internet as possible in an attempt to make SEO and organic traffic happen fast – this cannot happen. But, what I found that was even more shocking:a lot of my articles, even after skim proof reading, had many mistakes in them. This, of course, will turn many web users straight off a website as it looks unprofessional and no-one likes reading content that is not understandable. For this reason, although it is tedious, always make sure to read your content slowly before publishing or, better yet, read it out loud to yourself.
