Whenever you create a new Facebook Ads campaign, there is always a good chance that you will be surprised with new results or learn something new. In a recent campaign I created, I wanted to jump on one of the hot trends from the NBA this season, and it was a dunk delivered by Blake Griffin over Kendrick Perkins. Everyone was talking about it and they said it may have been one of the best dunks of all time.

What I wanted to do was create a Facebook Fab Page about Blake Griffin and his dunk. I threw together a bunch of images of Blake Griffin dunking, and a few of them were from the actual dunk that was over Perkins.

The question I wanted to answer was… which of these images are going to yield the best click through rate? Since the actual click through rates of the ad campaign is what determines the price you will pay per click, it’s important to only run the top performing ad images with your campaign.

The results weren’t amazingly surprising, but it’s still interesting to see what gets people to click. Check out the full Zac Johnson Slam Dunks Facebook Ads post on Performance Insider.
