Google AdWords is a great tool for those who need to do some internet marketing to get traffic to their website. You can use it to find the best keywords for your website or blog. But the tool by itself wont give you results. You have to utilize it in a certain way so as to get the best out of it. Bottom line is that it is all up to the campaign that you launch. Only the best thought out and planned campaign will help you get the best results.  Here you will find some PPC tips for setting up a free Google AdWords account.

  • Visit https://AdWords.google.com/selece/KeywordToolExternal Here you will find the AdWords generator. In the search bar you should enter the best search term or title that matches the content of your blog or website. For example if your website is about a healthy vegetarian lifestyle then you can enter that into the search box.
  • Now that you have done that all you need to do next is to click on the “get ideas” tab. This allows the keyword generator tool to give you results according to your search terms. Not only do they give you results but they also give you the best results for the content on your website.  This allows you to create a killer PPC campaign to get the most traffic to your website.
  • Before you start scrolling down the list of keywords and writing them down you should choose the scroll option that allows you to display columns. You will be able to select from a drop down menu where you will see a couple options. Here you should click on the option that reads “estimated average CPC”. This shows you the cost per click for each of the keywords or keyword phrases.
  • Now you can scroll through the list of keywords and choose the AdWords that have the highest CPC price bearing in mind that the price is just an estimate. You also want to choose those with the best search volume so you know you will be getting traffic as soon as you start using those keywords. There is a button that allows you to add each keyword or phrase that can be found at the right side of each listing. Just click on that for keywords you want to choose.
  • When you are done adding those you like the most then you will find them in a box to the right of the page. All you now need to do is click on the button that reads “TXT” and you will see a download window open up. When this appears and you open it you will see all your chosen words, all you need to do is save it to wherever you want to on your computer and there you will have your free list of very successful keywords.
  • When you are ready to use your keywords, you simply click on the icon and copy your keywords from there into your website or blog content or any other content that you may be using for marketing purposes.
