Mashable’s editor-in-chief Ben Parr looks like he’s been fired. It looks like he parted ways under circumstances that apparently were less than happy. Ben has worked for Mashable since 2008, was fired, according to a brief Mashable statement.
Parr’s departure began earlier tonight, Sunday. I tried emailing Parr and got a “no longer here” response, and his bio page was edited to identify him as “the former editor-at-large.”
I’ll really miss the great posts from Ben. I really enjoyed all his posts and the different entrepreneur things that he wrote about.
[Update] Looks like we were a little off and Ben’s leaving Mashable was on Good terms! Thanks to our readers for the update!

I’m not sure if you guys were going for a more dramatic headline or if its an honest mistake, but it looks like ben left without any qualms.
