The old world of marketing is quickly getting crushed by the new ways of marketing products, services and brands online. Not only can you reach millions of people through online advertising, but it’s also much cheaper in terms of actual lead generation and return on investment.
The infographic below breaks down some of the more interesting comparisons between traditional marketing versus internet marketing. Some of the top statistics are highlighted below.
- The average cost of one superbowl commercial is $3 million dollars, which is equivalent to buying 30 seconds of air time and reaching 90 million viewers.
- The cost of traditional billboard advertising versus online advertising. 50% cheaper than radio ads, 60% cheaper than newspaper ads, 80% cheaper than television ads. Up to 15% MORE expensive than online advertising!
- There are 232.7 million daily Internet users in the United States, who spend 2 hours a day online… totalling 13 billion minutes every day online. That’s roughly 75% of all Americans!
