If you manage or help someone else manage a variety of pay-per-click sites that use Google AdWords, you probably get a little bit tired of constantly logging out of one Google account and into another, just to manage the settings on your various AdWords accounts. Plus, sometimes it can be difficult to keep straight just what you have taken care of with which account.  If you find yourself in this situation, and you haven’t already explored Google’s My Client Center, than you should probably take a look at the service. Even if you have checked it out in the past, there are new features that have been recently added, and they may convince you to go ahead and start using it on a regular basis.
My Client Center, or as it is more commonly knows, MCC is the user interface that Google provides to help you manage your AdWords accounts. If you take a little time to explore its features, you will find that it is perfect for the internet marketer that has a lot of accounts to handle.
Features of MCC:
- If you have more than one client account, you can generate reports for one, or for all of those accounts.
- Each account allows you to generate bills for each individual client.
- Budgeting. Because all the separate accounts are visible at the same time, the issue of budgeting your money between accounts becomes quite obvious. In addition, there is no more worry that you will start to confuse with account has spent what from which part of the budget.
- You can have sub accounts within the larger account, and can grant access to those sub accounts to individual users. This can be extremely helpful for both employees you have working for you, or to allow access to the account to your clients (only if you want to, of course!).
- You can also manage all of the accounts at the same time by establishing automated rules for all accounts at the same time. With this tool, if you find a trick that really works for you, you can automatically make it happen across the board. This one feature can be a real time saver.
- Track the performance of your accounts. Of course you are already looking at your analytics on a regular basis, but you might not always think about the performance of one account versus the performance of another account. If you look at the metrics all at the same time; however, differences between accounts become quite glaring.
As you might imagine from a Google product, you also have the ability to search within all of your accounts at once. Once you get the hang of it, My Client Center starts to save you serious time and gives you the right amount of versatility to truly master all of your accounts.   It is also the type of web tool that is continually getting more robust. If you get comfortable with it now, it will only be getting better in the future.
