How sure are you about your next PPC campaign? Is it bound to fail, or is it bound to succeed? Below are 4 tactics you can use today to help you get the best from your next PPC campaign.
1. Use Coupons
One great way to ensure your next PPC campaign is a success is to use coupons. You can use coupons for various things, ranging from saving money on your next PPC campaign to getting people to buy from you or sign up to your email list. Coupons can have a powerful impact on end users, and it is very important that you never underestimate its impact.
2. Test, Test and Test
I can’t advice this enough, but it is the most important tip in this article. You can never know what works and what doesn’t just by setting up a campaign, so make sure you are always ready to test. It is also of utmost importance that you don’t just invest a fortune into a PPC campaign without having prior knowledge of how it can go. In other words, test the market with a few hundred dollars before going full scale into it, and that way you will have a better idea of what works and what doesn’t.
Test at small stages first, and once you’re sure a campaign is going to work, test on bigger stages also.
Another tip is that you shouldn’t stop testing just because you found something that works really great. No matter how great or profitable a campaign is, don’t let that stop you from testing, because you never know what is out there for you.
3. Target Variations of Your Keywords When Possible
You can also increase your chances of success with your next PPC campaign by targeting variations of your next keywords. By this, I mean you should work on targeting both plural versions of your keywords, popular misspellings, and even synonyms of your desired keywords. That will make sure you don’t miss on targeted traffic.
It is important, though, to be careful when targeting plurals and synonym keywords, because there are situations that these keywords refer to something different so you should only proceed with caution in such situations.
4. Have Separate Landing Pages for Different Campaigns
Another tactic you can use to help you get the best from your next PPC campaign is to create a separate landing page for each campaign. This will ensure you are able to track each campaign differently to see what works.
For example, if you’re an Adsense advertiser you will know that there are two main types of PPC ads – the first one is the search ad, and the second one is the content ad. The search ad is your ad that is displayed alongside search results for keyword you are targeting in the search engines, and the content ad is the ad displayed on blogs and websites with content related to the keywords you’re targeting. Having a separate landing page for each campaign helps make it easy to see which one converts the most, and as a result know which one to focus more effort on.
