Are you often wondering how your web site is ranking in the search engines? Sure, we all are. The problem is, many of us will head over to Google and perform a search for our domain, but the results will vary and are usually in our favor because we still have cache in our browsers, which will likely make your site rank higher from your own computer.
So how can you get an accurate ranking on where your site is really ranking in the search engines, specifically Google?
Well there is a cool web site called WhatPageOfSearchAmIOn.com, and all you need to do is enter your domain name and the specific term you want to see if you rank for. The site will then crawl Google and give you an accurate listing.
You can see a screenshot of a quick report we pulled for this blog, and how we currently rank for PPC in Google.
Another cool tool out there for pulling search reports, is RankChecker, which can provide ranking reports from Google, Bing and Yahoo. It’s also great because it’s a free plugin that runs within your current FireFox browser.
