Below are five tips that will help boost your PPC campaigns at the end of the month.  By following these tips you can increase traffic and conversions to make January your best month yet.

  1. Shift Spend from One Search Engine to Another:   If Google performs much better than Yahoo, shift some of your money away from Yahoo and put it into Google.  This way Google can spend more money and gain more people.  Make sure Google, or whatever search engine you choose to add more money to actually have the potential to spend more money.
  2. Pause Underperforming Keywords:  It is never a good idea to start experimenting at the end of the month.    If your keywords are spending and not converting, save your money on keywords and pause any underperforming keywords.
  3. Urgent Ad text:  Give an urgent message in your ad text.  “Ending soon, Sale Ends January 31st!” This will create a sense of urgency and people will act quickly and not wait on making a purchase.
  4. Pause All Underperforming Ad Texts:  If you have success with one ad text over others, pause the other ad texts until the end of the month.  Conversions will increase since traffic will filter through the best performing ad text.
  5. Keyword Level Bidding:  If it’s the last few days of the month, and you’re low on money to spend, find the best performing keyword and increase your bid on that keyword within an ad group.  This will help you avoid overspending at the end of the month.

Following these five tips at the end of the month will help to increase traffic and conversions and get the most out of your budget.
