With it being the end of the summer holidays for children, you will start to see the student based campaigns disappear along with their discounts to try and promote product sales for things such as stationary, laptops and gadgets. Last month, July provided some really helpful PPC articles from analysing PPC campaigns already out there to general help and tips to improve your effectiveness on the internet. There is no shadow of a doubt that August’s PPC articles will help you too ranging across the whole of pay per click advertising.
Should Advertisers and Publishers Use Infolinks?
It’s one thing finding a form of monetization and advertising online that will help you make money. However, what are the drawbacks to that form of online monetization/advertising? For example, pop-up adds could bring in ridiculously high CTRs but they have a huge drawback as they annoy web users. In this article, I look at the in-text advertising program Infolinks and whether or not you should use them as an advertiser or publisher.
Panasonic – Analyse A Real PPC Campaign
Carrying on my ‘Analyse A Real PPC Campaign’, I look at Panasonic who have created a PPC campaign for their camera section of the business. Overall, it is a great campaign which advertisers of PPC can learn a few things from. Therefore, this is definitely a good read.
WeBuyAnyCar – Analyse A Real PPC Campaign
While I am on the topic of this series, here is another article from August where I analyse WeBuyAnyCar.com’s PPC campaign. This is also a great read because the campaign can be considered slightly different to Panasonic’s. Panasonic are trying to advertise and spread brand awareness of their camera range while WeBuyAnyCar.com’s landing is used to entice the web user into performing a conversion with them by using bullet point lists of the benefit of using their service.
Keyword Classification in PPC
Although I believe the landing page is the most important aspect of a PPC campaign, the keywords hold huge significance to the success of the campaign too. Choosing the wrong keywords in a campaign can be pretty bad and result in a failure of campaign. This article looks what questions advertisers should ask themselves when choosing their keywords and what type of keywords advertisers can choose from: low, medium and high intent keywords.
Best Form Of Advertising Online
I know you may not feel inclined to read this. To be honest, if I was happy with PPC, I wouldn’t really care about any other form of advertising out there. This article looks into the best forms of advertising out there from PPC to banner to in-text advertising for both publishers and advertisers. The reason you should read this is because each form of advertising is constantly innovating its form of advertising to compete against the rest. Infolinks for in-text advertising are not just in-text advertising any more. BuySellAds of banner advertising are not just banner ads any more. It’s always good to keep up to date with the market.
