In our last post about the pet industry, we talked about how much money is being spent by pet owners around the country. Now it’s time to look at a few different options for how you can make money online. Through the use of affiliate marketing and other online opportunities, you can quickly and effectively build a business model around the pet industry, and the owners who are continually looking for a never ending supply of answers, products and advice for their pets.

  1. Affiliate Marketing
One of the easiest ways to start making money with pet related products and services, is to already promote stuff that is already out there. There are already pet affiliate networks out there that focus only on “pet related” products and offers. Ranging from $1 in commission for a simple email submit, or over $40 for a new pet food delivery subscription, there are plenty of ways for you to promote pet offers through affiliate marketing.
  2. Amazon.com Partner
The largest online shopping site in the world already has millions of users who trust and buy through their brand. If you wanted to create a web site that reviews and posts information about their pet products, you can create content around their products, then simply refer customers to Amazon.com. Every time a purchase is made through your site (pushed to Amazon), you would earn a commission on that sale and never have to handle any inventory or process any orders.
  3. Google Adsense
Content web sites are an excellent way to make money with Google Adsense, and a pet information based web site. Head over to the Google Keyword Tool and perform some pet related searches and you will get an idea of how many people are searching for pet food coupons, reviews and more. If you can create a site answering these questions, you can easily monetize your whole site through the use of Google Adsense.

Now is the best time to get started!

The three methods above are just a quick glance of the many ways you can make money in the pet industry through the use of affiliate marketing. Once you get started with building your own pet site or ad campaign, you will continue to better understand how to monetize your traffic and increase conversions. The best way to get started, is to simply start now!

I had a site which is remain ads-free. I have no idea on how to monetize it properly. I am really interested with the affiliate marketing. I already have amazon but I think the site didn’t perform well with amazon. Any other affiliate network which suitable for pet niche?
