Every year, it is only right to have an update on a few of the best programs out there that millions of bloggers use to make money from their websites. Last year, I did a review of Adsense which highlighted a few additions to Adsense such as a new look, the Adsense app for iOS and Android as well as the scorecard which helps to rank how healthy your site is in optimising its revenues for Adsense. This, all in all, helped to improve the experience people had with Adsense. Saying this, we are now a year down the line so here is an updated review of Adsense for 2015.

Before we get things rolling I think it is important to remember that Adsense is one of, if not, the best program out there to implement onto a website to start making money from it. There really is no other program as good as Adsense.

Emails Alerts

A great addition to Adsense are email alerts, which I have started receiving from Google. Not only do they provide general optimisation tips for Adsense users, the email is tailored to my account so Google provides  optimisation tips that apply just to me.

I think this is, in short, amazing. Before, Adsense users had to base their optimisation tips on what other websites stated and the general talk around how to make money more from Adsense online. The fact publishers now have tailored optimisation tips will definitely help make the program even better than before.

Optimisation Widgets

I am not sure what to call these, but they are boxes that now appear on the right hand side of Adsense’s dashboard which, again like above, give the user the possibility to improve their publisher account or even experiment! This is exactly what Adsense users want since for those that do not have much time, they will simply click what Adsense says will make them more money. For those with a little more time on their hands, they can actually set out experiments in Adsense to find out experimentally what works best for their website/s.

Google Adsense Review 2015 - The Best Of PPC

More Advertisers, Higher CPCs, Increased Earnings

Ultimately, Adsense has got to be the best program out there. Every year I have seen a slight increase in my CPC – now, this could be due to my website’s quality improving. However, I have a website I have not changed or updated since 2012 and still its CPC is increasing. To me, this suggests that the level of competition in Google’s PPC program is increasing. More advertisers means a higher CPC and more contextual adverts. In general, users of Adsense will continually make more and more money. For experts and novices alike, Adsense is the best of PPC.
